Wong Chiew Restaurant at 19 Sembawang Road

Looking for a place serving Dim Sum with affordable place ? If you are living around North area, you can consider Wong Chiew Restaurant, a small restaurant located at 19 Sembawang Road. Parking maybe a hassle because there is no public carpark around this area.

We preferred to sit at the non air-conditioning area. You can also choose the air-conditioning dining area.

Soup Dumpling at S$8.00 per bowl
Food Rating: 3.5/5

Dumpling wrapped with prawn and minced pork, even though dumpling tasted good but not for the soup.

Carrot Cake at S$3.50
Food Rating: 3.5/5

Carrot cake was freshly made with crispy layer. However, carrot cake was slightly overcooked with burnt layer that left a bit of bitterness.

Siew Mai at S$3.00
Food Rating: 4.5/5

Among all the Dim Sum, I will strongly recommend the Siew Mai.

Black Bean Paste Steamed Pork Ribs
Food Rating: 3.5/5

Another dish that I will recommend you to try. Pork Ribs served in small pieces, while the savoury taste of the black Bean Paste will linger in your mouth.

Beancurd Skin Roll at S$3.00
Food Rating: 3/5

Prawn Dumpling at S$3.50
Food Rating: 3.5/5

Lotus Leaf Rice at S$4.50
Food Rating: 3/5

Char Siew Bao at S$3.00
Food Rating: 3/5

If you are not too particular on the quality of the food standard, this restaurant will be a good choice to visit due to its affordable Dim Sum pricing.
