Best Western Wanna Riverside Hotel

This hotel facing the river,
15-20 mins walk to Jonker Street.

Walking around to hunt for food.
Hotel nearby surrounded with few coffeeshops and push cart stalls.

Street food commonly find in Malacca.

You will never feel hungry when you are in Malacca.

The reason we never drive our car,
because we are not familar with the roads.

Most of the times,
we are walking around  instead of driving.

We can't find push cart stalls in Singapore.
Most of the Street Food in Malacca sell Authentic local food.
Most important affordable pricing and delicious food.

Guess....
What are this people waiting for?

Capitol Satay Celup
(Lok Lok Satay)

All raw food was nicely display on the open concept freezer.
Prices stated RM$0.90 per stick.

For special order like the big prawn stick will cost around few dollars.
You can have your own choice,
by setting some limit how much you want to spend for this meal.

WOW ... Yummy

People are willing to wait so long,
just because of this pot of Satay gravy.

We waited for 20 mins for our seats.
It will be easier to find vacant seats for 2-3 pax.

Choose your own favourite food,
dipped into the hot boiling satay gravy.

Food Hunter Eason preparing his choice of selection food.

Service staff stirring the gravy,
pour some grounded peanut into the pot.

This was all the food we have ordered.

Be careful don't eat immediately,
when you take out from the pot.

Satay food can be very hot,
 you might burn your tongue.

Food Hunter Joanne liked the satay Celup very much.
Look at her happy face !

Walking back to our hotel
(distance take us about 20 mins)

Along the river,
you will see one row of 2 storey shops around.
You can find some budget hotel  around this area.

Scenery took in front of our hotel.

Our hotel is just right in front of us,

Back to our hotel room,
everything inside the room look fine except the TV.
semm slightly too small.

End of Day 1 trip in Malacca
